Adobe Hidden Treasure : Bauhaus Dessau Logo Contest

Design Challenge
Use one or more of the new Bauhaus Dessau fonts to create a digital logo in the Bauhaus style.

The Project
EROS is an imaginary online shop of funny-looking flowers and plants. The project takes inspiration from 'Burg 1' and ‘Eros’, artworks that Paul Klee - teacher at the Bauhaus - produced in 1923. Celebrating the bulky boldness of the chosen font, I played around with vivid contrasts and patterns exploring positive and negative spaces. The aim of the logo design is to recall a symbolic flower shape without being literal. The hard edges of the letters have been slightly softened to be in line with the organic nature of the product.
